Overnight Noatmeal

Never heard of it… it’s the next best thing to oatmeal but more on my eating lifestyle!

Next time you want oatmeal but don’t want the stomach bloat and weight on the scale to go up… try this noatmeal! I’m working on perfecting it for myself but here is the basic info:


  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Barleans antioxidant blend
  • 1/2-1/3 cup Almond milk

That’s the base…From there go wild with all the tantalizing options you can think of… today I added tsp of sugar free salted Carmel syrup, butter, and raspberries!

Once you have made your own mouthwatering rendition of noatmeal, let it soak over night in the fridge, then heat for 1-2 min before enjoying!!

Keep it simple

Tonight I didn’t have dinner planned, but the best thing about this lifestyle is all I have to do is BBQ up something! Tonight and one I loved was a hamburger patty (homemade patty), with sautéed mushrooms on top!  

I sautéed the mushrooms in butter and garlic, and the hamburger was on the traeger with a little onion seasoning!  

Side Caesar salad and the leftover cucumber salad!  Yum yum! 

Creamy Dill Cucumber Salad

I have started a lifestyle called CodeRed Lifestyle! And here is the first true recipe I have made! It is amazing and has become one of my go to recipes!


  • 3 Cucumbers
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 2/3c Mayonnaise
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • Garlic
  • Dill seasoning
  1. Peel and cut cucumber into chunks.
  2. Dice sweet onion up and put in with cucumbers
  3. Salt and pepper cucumber onion mix
  4. In a separate bowl mix 2/3c mayo, juice from one lemon, and  garlic (I use a spoon full).
  5. Then mix dressing with cucumber mix
  6. Last add dill seasoning

I’m here because I’m taking on a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family! As many of you know I’ve gained and lost weight many times! I want to learn how to make this a lifestyle for myself and my family so that once I lose my weight again…it won’t come back… it’s got to be a lifestyle not a diet and this is the last time I’m losing this extra weight!!

With that I want to bring the recipes and tips and tricks I’m learning in the kitchen to you, as I learn them!  It may be very simple things I’m eating in our kitchen but it will help me keep track of the things I’m creating in our house to keep us on the healthy track!
